Distribution Trucks
Reliability, durability, driver comfort and safety are Scania strengths. For distribution work, ease of manoeuvrability, excellent vision from the cab and a powertrain designed to reduce driver fatigue, mean Scania vehicles perform just as well on the road as they do on the balance sheet.
Scania chassis and powertrains are engineered in house so all our systems are fully integrated from the start, and all built to the same high Scania standard. That drives durability and reliability, and cost-effective ownership.
Innovation propels us forward, delivering new, driver-friendly features that increase efficiency, asset utilisation and safety.
The new Fully Automated Scania Opticruise is a clutch-pedal free automated gearchange system that reduces wear, operator fatigue and fuel consumption, yet gives the driver full control.
When mated to the new five or six-cylinder in–line Scania XPI (extra high pressure injection) engines, for example as fitted to the new Scania G-series Prime Mover or rigid trucks, you have a technically advanced, supremely efficient vehicle that makes short work of any kind of distribution duty-cycle.
The new Scania Complete Vehicles Program delivers you Ready Built, saving time and money.
Initially available are a choice of specifications for an 8x4 twin-steer with a Hyva Hooklift already installed, or the new Scania Curtainsider, a 6x2, 14-pallet rigid truck that comes with an Australian designed and built curtainsider body attached.
Scania helps you keep operating costs down and profitability up. Our long-established, factory-trained After Sales teams strive to keep your fleet in perfect working order, maximising uptime.
