Available as 12-litre or 16-litre, our engines cover a power range from (221kW) 300hp to (588kW) 800hp. Scania’s 12-litre marine engines have world-class power-to-weight and power-to-size ratios. They are quick throttle response with a surge of torque available just above idling speed. The 12-litre is ideally suited to commercial operations where lower operating costs, maximum uptime and reduced emissions are vital.

Our 16-litre V8 is specifically designed for heavy-duty jobs where high performance, maximum dependability and good fuel economy are still important. With Scania’s characteristic maximum torque from low revs our 16-litre engines provide unexpected onboard comfort from minimal vibration and smooth operation.
